We go over questions regarding the walk, the organization, and how Type 1 Diabetes has been portrayed in mass media. Not just that, but Ryan dives into what it was like to get diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 15-years-old (during the pandemic, no less), and how he and his family have been navigating the diagnosis.

The upcoming Breakthrough T1D Walk, Hudson Valley, NY will take place on October 25, 2026, at the East Fishkill Recreation Center located at 392 NY-376, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.
Event Schedule & Details
12:00 PM: Site opens and check-in begins.
1:00 PM: Stage program at the start line.
1:15 PM: Walk begins (length is typically 1 mile).
3:00 PM: Event concludes.
